Inversely Proportional Chemistry Definition
Inversely Proportional Chemistry DefinitionInversely proportional chemistry definition of substance is an equilibrium and so is part of the equation, which states that a substance must have a reaction between its physical properties and its chemical properties at all possible points along the balance. Equilibrium means that the quantity of one can't go beyond the quantity of the other. All the forms of equilibrium are equally appropriate, but some are more convenient for us.The term ingredient is of Greek origin and means inversely proportional to the quantity. A similar method is used by medical science in anatomy, to state that the anatomist has a certain element, without actually understanding the meaning of it. The reason is that he has the concept of an 'inverse proportion' in his mind. The concept of the anti-metabolite is another example of this method. In this case the term means the component that is opposite to the one whose principle is and from which all the other compone nts, is built.Chemicals are made up of atoms that are arranged in a certain way, with hydrogen being one of the largest molecules. The numbers of these atoms are called the valence band or valence-d-orbitals. It is always represented in pairs and the bond which join the atoms together is called an atom bond.A chemical formula contains the chemical symbol for each element, followed by the name of the element itself. There is also an abbreviation for the element which will be the usual type, such as H or Cl. The structure of the formula will give the unit and will tell you the specific gravity. The unit of area is a cm. The symbol 'I' is called amorphous while that of mass is referred to as crystalline.Another important factor to a chemical formula is that the symbols for the elements are different from those for the non-element and so will appear indifferent ways. The molecular formula is normally written in the first two columns and the atomic formula is written on the third column. The ratio of the force between the ions of a compound will be given at the bottom of the formulae. To enter a compound in a chemistry equation you have to use a combination of chemical symbols, in which they are shown separately. When working with a chemical equation, there is usually a rule about how the formula should be used. It is usually good practice to use these formulas, in order to save time and ensure consistency in the application of the equation.Chemistry is a science that deals with the mixture of two or more substances and their reactions. Its aims are to analyse how the substances mix together, how substances react with each other and when they will combine or remain separate.

How to Ask for More Flexibility at Work - Introvert Whisperer
Introvert Whisperer / How to Ask for More Flexibility at Work - Introvert Whisperer How to Ask for More Flexibility at Work Guest Author June 10, 2016 Career Development, Office Politics, Problem-Solving One response Technology has made job flexibility a lot easier. Staying connected to the workplace isnât a challenge when employees have access to smart phones, tablets and laptops. Thatâs one reason more and more people are seeking alternatives to the traditional nine-to-five schedule. Employers are seeing that options not only make workers happier â" but also make them more productive. Some organizations have fully adopted flexible scheduling. Maybe your companyâs not quite on the cutting edge yet, but donât give up. If youâve been toying with the idea of a flexible schedule, you can lead the charge. Be prepared with a serious and detailed plan, and youâll be more likely to get a thumbs up, or at least not a definitive thumbs down. Sometimes change takes time. The Background In the gym, the definition of âflexibilityâ is straightforward: Your muscles arenât short and tight. At work, âflexibilityâ has multiple meanings. Thatâs great, because you have more possibilities. Before proposing a schedule change, you need to be clear about what you want. Consider these questions: Would you like to telecommute, working from home one or more days a week? Do you want to come in earlier so you can leave sooner? Does the opposite appeal to you? Do you want a compressed work week, where your forty hours are spread over four days instead of five? Would you rather switch to part-time? Perhaps even share a position with someone else? Determine your preference, but also consider which option adapts best to your work responsibilities. The Motivation Give the upper echelon a reason to say âyes.â Develop skills that increase your value to the team and make you stand out from the crowd. Emerge as a go-to expert in a certain area. Be sure these competencies fit into your overall scheduling plan. Thereâs no point in becoming the best at troubling-shooting an important software program if you ultimately want to telecommute. Theyâll never let you to leave the office! The Ad Lib As youâre developing your plan, take advantage of any sudden situations that let you demonstrate your effectiveness under your desired circumstances. For instance, if you want to telecommute, work when youâre home sick or trapped by a weather emergency. Or come in early to meet a looming deadline. When you eventually talk to your boss about flexible scheduling, mention these real-life illustrations of success. The Prep No action is without consequence. Changing your schedule affects coworkers. Think this through, and be prepared to counter any concerns. For example, how will you keep in touch with your team if you telecommute? How can they reach you in an emergency? What kind of equipment and devices will you need at home? Your employer may not be interested in paying for these. Will you? This might involve a significant financial outlay. The Pitch Youâve done the groundwork. Now make your case. Ask your supervisor for a meeting. Donât throw the idea out in passing. If you donât present it seriously, you wonât be taken seriously. Make your proposal, but donât dwell on how itâll benefit you. Focus on advantages to your employer. For example, telecommuting might let you get more work done, because youâll have fewer distractions. Having someone in the office early in the morning might make the business more accessible to clients. Having the option will also improve recruitment and retention, since 74 percent consider flexible work schedules a priority when choosing a job. Describe your proposal in detail. Emphasize that youâve already considered and addressed potential challenges and concerns. Point out that flexible scheduling is becoming more common. Since 2005, telecommuting has more than doubled. Over three quarters of workers believe theyâre more productive away from the office. Donât forget that personal anecdote about working from home when you were sick (or whatever event demonstrated your ability to flex). An instant, enthusiastic âyesâ isnât realistic, especially if flexible scheduling is new to your office. Suggest a trial run that lasts from one to three months. At the end of the period, everyone â" your boss, co-workers, other stakeholders and yourself â" assesses the programâs success. Then the proposal can be fully accepted, modified or, if unsuccessful, scrapped. The Negotiation You have a particular schedule in mind, but be open to alternatives. Maybe management is willing to try less radical modifications. Listen to counterproposals. Perhaps youâll be offered flexibility within certain parameters, such as: Instead of working from nine until five, put in your hours anytime between eight a.m. and six p.m. Adjust your schedule whenever you have appointments or other personal business. Work from home when thereâs a specific need, such as injury or illness. Change your schedule just one day a week. The Long Game Even if your proposal is met with a flat âno,â the idea might not be permanently off the table. Note the objections to your plan. Over time, address any concerns about your work habits. Are you slack with deadlines? If thatâs the perception, improve! Also, see if problematic conditions change during the year. For instance, starting to telecommute during your busiest season probably wonât fly. Later in the year, the request might receive more support. Professionals who want job flexibility are looking for a work-life balance, not a way to get out of work. Having a well-prepared plan signals that youâre not trying to put your work on the back burner. You just want to try a new way of cooking. Bring your Children to English (or Spanish) Class
Bring your Children to English (or Spanish) Class English students of mine and my wifes will know that we recently had a baby girl. Of course, were both interested in language learning, and take Spanish classes online. We both really want our daughter to begin learning a second language as young as possible. Besides the advantage of knowing two languages, several studies have proven that growing up bilingual offers a host of benefits for children. From an article in Newsweek:Bilingualism, of course, can be a leg up for college admission and a résumé burnisher. But a growing body of research now offers a further rationale: the regular, high-level use of more than one language may actually improve early brain development.According to several different studies, command of two or more languages bolsters the ability to focus in the face of distraction, decide between competing alternatives, and disregard irrelevant information. These essential skills are grouped together, known in brain terms as âexecutive function.â The research su ggests they develop ahead of time in bilingual children, and are already evident in kids as young as 3 or 4.So when should you start teaching a second language to your children? After watching the TED video posted below of researcher Patrica Kuhl talking about The linguistic genius of babies we realized that, even though our daughter is less than 2 months old, its a great time to begin.Being the believers in Skype language learning that we are, Teauna and I have started bringing our daughter to our Spanish classes. Honestly, its hard to tell if shes absorbing anything at this point. Mostly she just sleeps through the classes. But we hope that as she grows, shell grow up with both Spanish and English. We configure the classes with our audio playing through our computers speakers, so that our daughter will hear our Spanish and our teachers Spanish, so that they get to hear a native speaker along with our non-native accents (and mistakes). We have a few students who have also started bri nging their babies to English classes, with the same purpose in mind. Theres no extra charge for bringing babies (or anyone!) to your class with you, so if you have a child, feel free to bring him or her to class. Also, we offer classes for children, and have had great success teaching English to children over Skype at as young as 7. Contact us if youre interested in English classes for you or your children (or babies).

High School Seniors How to Be Successful This Fall
High School Seniors How to Be Successful This Fall High School Seniors: Balancing Classes, AP, SAT/ACT, College Apps, and More This Fall High School Seniors: Balancing Classes, AP, SAT/ACT, College Apps, and More This Fall High school seniors looking to go to a four-year college next year are all in a similar, stressful situation. Your schedule is full, your new classes are very hard, youâre supposed to be taking critical standardized tests, and you have college applications to start and finish. All of this while you are having the added pressure of deciding where you want to spend the next four years and what you want to do with your life. Not to mention the anticipation of parting ways with many of your closest friends shortly our private Costa Mesa tutors are here to help with your senior year. Overall, it really isnât an easy time for anyone. Unfortunately, reading this wonât be able to take all of that stress away. What it will do, however, is give you some guidance to help alleviate your difficulties and help lead you toward success in all of these endeavors. After helping many students in similar situations, here is some of my advice about how to balance everything in this busy and difficult time: SAT and ACT Hopefully, youâve already taken your standardized test of choice at least once. Hopefully, you also prepared for that test by studying and taking practice tests. If you have, this is good news: with your upcoming test you are only trying to improve your previous scores, and you have a good grasp on the test already. You are likely a little rusty on the material if you havenât been studying over the summer, so you need to refresh yourself. For many students, there is simply no time to take a full-length practice test because of their other obligations. Instead, take each section one at a time with a timer. Take a timed reading section one day, and a timed math section the next. Write a timed essay if you are taking the essay. By doing this, you only need to find about an hour of spare time to study, while still getting used to the questions again and getting comfortable with the time limits and pacing. If this is your first test and you have not studied at all, you are in a more difficult situation. You simply must take a timed, full-length practice test before your real test if you want to perform close to your potential. You will do poorly (compared to what you are capable of) if your first time taking the full SAT or ACT is on test day. Wake up early on a weekend if you have to and take a full practice test. Score it and review your answers or have someone experienced to do it for you. Students almost always improve by huge margins after taking the test for the first time; make sure that the first time is just practice. SAT Subject Tests Many students will also be taking the subject tests this time of year to apply to the few universities that require them. Because usually, only the more selective schools will be asking for the SAT subject tests, this means that you will want to do well on them. Unfortunately, these tests are not well-known and are often an afterthought for students who find themselves forced to take them in the fall of their senior year without much or any preparation. These are still standardized tests, and you still need to be familiar with them if you want to do well. Like the other standardized tests, you should be taking practice tests. Luckily, the subject tests are not very long. Get ahold of some practice tests (official ones if possible) and take them when you have free time. These tests do require detailed knowledge of the subject you are taking them for, so you will likely have to review your old class material and study. Take the practice tests early, so you know which tests you are best at and what material youâve forgotten and need to practice our private Costa Mesa test prep tutors will help you score high. AP Tests Senior year is also the year when students have the most advanced placement (AP) classes on their schedule. These classes have a lot of added difficulty, as well as the anticipation of trying to pass the AP test at the end of the year. Luckily, that test is a long way away, and you have plenty of time to study and prepare for it. If you also need to prepare for other standardized tests, make college applications and feel overwhelmed, then I recommend putting some of your AP prep on the backburner. This does not mean you should slack off in these classes. You could easily fall behind and see your grades slip (which you will have to report to the colleges you applied to, even though your applications are submitted before you know your final grades). Focus in class and make sure you understand everything to the best of your ability. You just might need to save the extra studying and AP prep for later. Donât start taking AP practice tests and having AP review sessions if it means sacrificing your SAT/ACT prep or your college applications. These are more important right now, and you need to put the time and effort into them before dedicating extra attention to AP material (READ: Costa Mesa Tutoring Tips: 5 Time-Saving Study Tips). New Classes The above points are referencing studying that you do to pass the AP exams ultimately â" a goal that you should have if you are taking an AP class. You should save AP test specific studying for later in the year if you are too busy now, but you canât neglect your grades and new classes. Here are three simple tips to help you stay on top of new classes during a busy time. Stay organized. Donât start cramming all of your papers into one folder because you think you donât have the time to organize them. Donât write your notes on loose scratch paper or keep every classâs notes in the same notebook. Donât miss homework or test dates because you didnât bother to write them down. Make yourself do at least the bare minimum for organization. Youâve been in school long enough to know what to do and what not to do. You donât need to go over the top and doing anything extra special this year to be organized, but you do need to keep yourself on top of things while your schedule is busy. Do everything early. It is easier said than done to avoid procrastination, but it is indisputable that finishing work early will save you from a lot of unnecessary extra stress. When you get an assignment, do the assignment. When you learn about a test, study for the test. When youâre assigned a big project, start it right away. This tactic will save you this fall. Find someone to hold you accountable. This tip goes with the two above. You need something to hold you accountable for doing things like staying organized, doing work early, and studying. It could be a parent, or a tutor, or a friend. Someone who knows what you need to do and can check in on you to make sure youâre doing it. Find a classmate who will always do the homework early with you so you can make each other do it. Tell your mom your study plan and write it down so she can follow up with you and make sure youâre staying according to schedule. Get an experienced tutor who can guide you in your application process or standardized testing and make sure youâre doing what you need to do. It is easy to slack and procrastinate when thereâs no one to call you out on it. These are all examples of ways to avoid that. College Applications You need to do this early and give them the attention they deserve. Deadlines for regular decision vary, but the most common is usually January 1st. However, they can be as early as November and as late as next spring. However, knowing the deadlines shouldnât be too important if you arenât procrastinating. Aim to finish your regular decision applications in October, so you have plenty of time to review, improve, and add new schools. If you havenât already, then contact the people you will be asking for letters of recommendation. Do it as soon as possible and tell them exactly what you would ideally like them to write about you. The more detail you give your recommender, the more likely they are to give you a letter that isnât generic and has the details you want colleges to read. Make your list of schools, familiarize yourself with application requirements and formats, and start writing your essays, personal statements, and resumes. You should ideally tailor each of these documents to each school, but you should still have your base templates to go off of. Give yourself several weeks to polish, individualize, and have others read and review. A good tactic is to make yourself do something application related every day. Tell yourself that you just need to work on an application for only five minutes. Often, these five minutes will turn into much more, but even if it doesnât, five minutes is still progress. Progress every day will add up. You will feel better, avoid procrastination, gain experience, and build a healthy habit. Make sure you stay accountable and do at least a little bit of work each day. Before you know it, you will be finished, have quality applications, and have plenty of time before the deadlines. How Organic Chemistry Taught By Wave Form Solids Can Make The Chemistry Classroom More Flexible
How Organic Chemistry Taught By Wave Form Solids Can Make The Chemistry Classroom More FlexibleThe organic chemistry tutor waves are a new technology being used in organic chemistry lessons and laboratories. They give chemical teachers a number of benefits which are advantageous to their students and provide flexibility when working with younger and more immature students. A good example is the fact that, with wave-form equation solutions, it is possible to show multiple reactions and the reaction products as a cluster. This means that in organic chemistry tutor's courses, the student can learn to work on many reactions in parallel - whereas previously it might have been thought that it was impossible. The organic chemistry tutor waves allow students to study a chemical reaction in small amounts - this is great for students who are still adjusting to working with the process.By using a variety of techniques, the new technology provides flexibility for students to understand the compli cated aspects of chemical reactions. It can also help the teacher to remove a lot of the uncertainty involved with dealing with such compounds. With a group of multiple reactions products in the middle of the laboratory, teachers have the opportunity to clearly illustrate the most important steps of the reaction, helping students to understand the steps that are involved. If a teacher would previously have had to make the student make the solution in a synthetic glass form, with organic crystals or other volatile compounds, then the wave-form solution enables the teacher to clearly differentiate the different reactions from one another. It also provides the teacher with a range of choices as to how to work on the reaction - from working on both the acids and bases or mixing the solutions of both acids and bases. This allows the teacher to work with the student with more confidence - allowing them to show different aspects of the reaction in different ways. When the student's reactions were originally displayed in one form, they would tend to be static, whereas with the wave form equation solution, the student can start the reactions from different points of view.In many ways, the organic chemistry tutor waves provide a really useful tool. While traditional chemistry labs have an element of doubt and mystery to them - this is lessened through the use of this type of apparatus. In the end, it is these units that will enhance your teaching and ensure that you provide your students with an understanding of chemical processes. The organic chemistry tutor waves have proven themselves over the years, and many teachers are finding that they are an essential addition to the laboratory curriculum.

Chemistry Solutions Test
Chemistry Solutions TestA Chemistry Solutions Test (CST) is a type of examination that helps students in knowing their reasoning skills. It is meant to test the mastery of both mathematics and science in the basic knowledge and understanding of the essential elements and processes in the functions of all sciences and all areas of mathematical or scientific disciplines. The need for a CST test is very high in most of the universities especially in the case of students who are just preparing for admission in the university. When the University offers CST exam, it is possible for the candidates to know the key questions that are on the examination. This test is made up of various components that include essay, midterm and final tests. On the other hand, each student who is not taking the college entrance examination must take the CST with a single purpose in mind. The test material is of course the written essay and quizzes that must be done with a flexible approach.A student can easily relate the analytical reasoning with the quantitative analysis question. The essay should definitely be polished and the whole explanation of the issues, both theoretical and pragmatic, should be carefully considered. You have to be very careful with the wordings as these are important parts of the analytical thinking that a student must master in order to pass the exam. In other words, if you don't have a clear view of what you are writing about then you should prepare to rewrite the whole article to reflect your essay. You must pay special attention to the words that are used on the essay writing part. You have to put more emphasis on the description of the material and should use few important words in your writing. Many of the students are very conscious about how they phrase their essay to be more efficient on the exam. They try to check the short essays of their friends or the homework solutions so that they can take a look at how they format their essay before doing the same. You have to do the same thing.A good essay will help you out if you can make a good logical argument. The main objective of the examination is to show that you are able to put all the concepts and the material to practical use. By following the above mentioned steps, you will be able to do this successfully. The greatest benefit that can be got from the exam is that you can improve your score. For those who don't do well in the written essay section, the mathematical reasoning section can be one of the best opportunities for them to get a better score. When you are able to answer the math and analytical thinking questions of the exam, it means that you are able to balance logic with creativity. The mathematical reasoning portion gives a student the chance to demonstrate how they apply their mathematical skills in the real world.Chemistry Solutions Test is a useful tool for all students. Most students who don't have a chance to take the tests don't understand the importance of it. The y don't find out about the value of having the testing in their classes. You can also use this test for yourself to increase your grades and be able to get a better knowledge of the core subjects in your degree course.
